Addictions Services

  • Services provided to adults who are experiencing substance use difficulties with alcohol, drugs, gambling and tobacco
  • Assessment, outpatient counseling and referrals to treatment and detox centres available
  • Protection of Children Abuse Drugs Act is available to parents whose adolescents are placing themselves at risk through abuse of substances
  • Young Adult (18-25) in patient treatments centres

 Walk In Clinics

  • Walk in clinic is a service designed so people are empowered to make changes in their lives by identifying and drawing upon their strengths and resources
  • Walk in clinic service is every Thursday from 11:30a.m. with the last appointment being at 3:15p.m.

Adult Short Term Therapy

  • Short term therapy (10 sessions) for depression, anxiety, bereavement, panic attack, eating disorders, suicidal thoughts and behaviour

Assertive Outreach Services

  • Program provides community support for adults suffering from a severe and persistent mental illness
  • Includes adults with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and chronic mood disorder

Families First

  • Early intervention program for parents/families with children 0-6 years old
  • Admission criteria based on Edinburgh Postnatal Screen
  • Services delivered through counseling services, home visitation, parenting education and support groups
  • Services available in High Level, Fort Vermilion, La Crete, Paddle Prarie and Rainbow Lake

Positive Parenting Program (Triple P Parenting)

  • The Triple P program aims to increase parental competence and confidence in raising children
  • Outcomes are achieved by creating a supportive learning environment for parents
  • Sessions are delivered to individual parents
